Once there, board a picturesque and entirely safe pontoon boat for a thrilling 40 minute ride to Rio Chiquito, a quaint little town located right on the other side of the lake. Arenal Lake is a sprawling sight of natural beauty where you will discover countless kinds of local and migratory birds that you had never seen before and will doubtlessly capture your imagination. You might even spot small mammals in the surroundings and breath-taking views of the Arenal Volcano.
