A king-sized day out! The qualified Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel bursting with information and ready to answer your questions as you head off to the West Bank.

First stop is the Valley of the Kings. There’s so much written about these magnificent tombs but nothing can prepare you for seeing them. Marvel at the resting place of the ancient Kings including Tutankhamen and Ramssess VI. Next, uncover a fascinating tale at the nearby Temple of Queen Hatshipsut who ruled Egypt about 20 years. Queen Hatshepsut is famous for posing as a male to gain the throne. Her temple is as striking as her story! Cameras poised, we’re off to the Colossi of Memnon, which marks the site of the funerarial temple of Amenhotep III. Two giant statues standing tall and proud are all that remains of the ancient complex.

afterwards it’s back to the East Bank in Luxor for a delicious, well-earned lunch at a local restaurant. You will continue on to visit The Karnak and Luxor Temples widely considered to be the jewels of the Nile’s East Bank. The Temple of Karnak is the greatest example of worship in Egyptian history, dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It compromises of three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples - all constructed over 1300 years and now the largest and oldest compounded temple on earth. Last but by no means least you’ll visit the Temple Of Luxor, completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. Enjoy a change of pace as you stare up at its 80-foot obelisk and colossus of Ramses II before roaming its atmospheric chambers.
